These "one of a kind" hats are hand crocheted by a group of artisan women in the highlands of Peru. Each roll brimmed hat is crocheted by an individual fiber artist using leftover 100% alpaca yarns to create a unique color combination in each hat. This project was created to support local artisans in using their skills to help improve their living conditions.
